Lite-Cell is sold as standard and non-standards bricks and boards, shells and half-shells, custom made parts and pellets. Lite-Cell is a foamed formulation of Alumina (Al2O3) and Mullite (Al6Si2O13) Lite-Cell is a Fiber Free material. It does not contain impurities or free silica. Lite-Cell is therefore safe to use and stable in reducing, alkali or other harsh atmospheres. Cellaris manufactures Lite-Cell bulk shapes from pellets. The shapes are manufactured in standard and non-standard dimensions, several densities and formulations for use in diverse industrial segments and different applications. There are two Lite-Cell product families - Standard Lite-Cell and Lite-Cell TSR. Lite-Cell can be provided in 4 standard density ranges from 0.45 gr/cc (28.1 lb/ft3) to 0.75 gr/cc (46.8 lb/ft3). The low density ranges are best suited for thermal insulation , while the higher density ranges are most appropriate for applications with mechanical loads.
