Lite-Cell offers superior insulation at high temperatures, due to its unique micro structure. At very high temperatures most of the heat is radiated rather than transmitted. The intricate cellular micro structure is very effective in reflecting the heat. Combine low thermal conductivity with light weight, rigidity & mechanical properties and with thermal shock resistance and you get the ultimate high-temperature insulation.
Lite-Cell performs extremely well as insulation in fast heating and cooling processes, such as high temperature electric furnaces. Cellaris has already designed and supplied hot face insulation for furnaces from Carbolite, Thermolyne, CM Furnaces, MHI and others. This hot face insulation is now available as a repair kit.

Overalapping Lips Insulation made with Lite-Cell is extremely easy to assemble on site. The Lite-Cell boards & bricks are not glued to eachother or to the back-up insulation. Insulation made with overlapping lips prevent radiation leaks and allows the insulation to extract & contract with temperature change.
