The Legacy of a Visionary Estate
Mas de Daumas Gassac was born in the early 1970s from the intuition—and quiet defiance—of Aimé Guibert. Convinced that the secluded Gassac valley had the potential to produce a truly great wine, he chose to follow the logic of the land rather than that of appellation rules, laying the foundations of a singular estate that would soon defy classification.
Today, this vision remains firmly in family hands. The estate is run by the four Guibert brothers—Samuel, Gaël, Roman and Basile Guibert—working closely alongside their mother, Véronique. Rather than reinventing the estate, each generation has focused on preserving its identity, refining the wines while remaining faithful to their origins.
Surrounded by forests and planted on rare red glacial soils mixed with limestone, the vineyards benefit from an unusually cool microclimate for Southern France, bringing freshness, balance and restraint to wines built around Cabernet Sauvignon and blended with numerous rare varieties. Elegant, structured and remarkably age-worthy, they express what Basile Guibert sums up simply: the ambition was never to make a wine of rules, but a wine of place.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the sale of en primeur wines offered by the Producer "Château Lafite Rothschild" via the Cellaris platform. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms by the buyer.

Delivery costs are specified before order confirmation and vary according to destination and volume ordered.
ARTICLE 3 - ORDER
The order is considered final after payment validation by the buyer. A confirmation email is sent summarizing the characteristics of the products ordered, total price, and expected delivery timeframes. The Producer reserves the right to refuse any order for legitimate reasons.
ARTICLE 4 - PAYMENT
Payment is made online by credit card, bank transfer, or direct debit via the platform's secure payment service provider. The total amount is debited upon order validation. No delivery will be made before full payment has been received.
ARTICLE 5 - DELIVERY
En primeur wines are delivered after their production and bottling, according to the schedule communicated at the time of order. The Producer commits to respecting announced deadlines, except in cases of force majeure or exceptional weather events that may affect production. The buyer is informed of any schedule changes by email. Products are delivered to the address specified at the time of order. The Producer stores the wines in optimal conditions until shipment, for a maximum period of six months after production.
ARTICLE 6 - PRODUCTION RISKS
As wine production is subject to natural hazards, in the event of impossibility to produce the ordered vintage due to exceptional weather events, frost, hail, or other natural disasters, the Producer commits to offering the buyer either full reimbursement of their order or replacement with an equivalent vintage subject to buyer acceptance.
